Even more information about Richard Regal
By this time, I had settled down in a new job at ACCA (one of the British accountancy bodies), and so to stop things becoming too comfortable, I became a shop steward.
After five years there I decided to try my luck on the international scene, and so joined IFAC as a sort of accounting version of “Sir Humphrey”. (If you’re not British, that will take too long to explain.) After five years there I left to become a freelance bureaucrat. However, during my time there I took probably the greatest step in my life and married an international arms dealer.
So, those are the experiences that have made me the man I am today, but what kind of man is that? Well I don’t actually think I’m the best person to comment really. Now that I’ve settled down and stopped rolling cars, some people even find me quite friendly and helpful. Of course, you will come across the odd person who believes I’m arrogant, but if I were you, I’d just ignore them.
